The lab is open
We team up with brands, agencies, publishers, and engineers to co-create hackathons. Same table, same sprint, shared outcomes. The best ideas happen when different worlds collide.
What to expect
From idea to prototype in days
Every hackathon follows the same rhythm. We keep it focused, fast, and collaborative — no slide decks, no spectators.
Pitch ideas
Anyone can throw an idea on the table — a hunch, a frustration, a “what if.”
Form teams
Self-organise around the ideas that excite you. Engineers, commercial, data — all welcome.
Build fast
Focused sprint, usually 1–2 days. Working prototypes, not presentations.
Demo & decide
Present to the group. The best ideas move into the Lab for further development.
How it runs
A typical hackathon day
We align on objectives beforehand, then spend the day building. Two parallel streams converge at the end — real data meets the designed experience.
Morning
Joint brainstorm — what would a unique insight look like?
Everyone in the room together. Starting from the agreed objective, brainstorm freely — what signals would be useful? What would change a decision? No data yet. This session sets the brief for the day.
Afternoon — Parallel Streams
Two teams, two tracks, same goal
The brainstorm output becomes the brief. Both streams run simultaneously — converging at the end of the day.
Stream A — Data Team
Build the real insight pipeline
- ·Run profiling against live data
- ·Generate outputs for brainstormed hypotheses
- ·Validate or kill each hypothesis with actual data
Stream B — Design Team
Co-design the experience
- ·Build the presentation layer using mock data
- ·Partners react and redirect in real time
- ·Swap in real data from Stream A as it lands
End of Day
Converge — real data meets the designed experience
Stream A's validated insights drop into Stream B's interface. Partners see their morning hypotheses answered with real data, delivered in a format they helped shape. The question becomes: did we find something worth acting on?
Key Principle
This is not a finished product — it's a proof of concept.
The goal is to show that we can surface useful, non-obvious insights in a single day — and open the conversation about what a longer engagement looks like. Showcase, not ship.
